Welcome to Singforjoy.ie, a community for children, teens and adults who want to sing - we cater for everyone! Whether that's to improve your vocal techniques, stage presence, wellbeing or to just try something new - we'll help you achieve your goal. Our mission is to spread the joy of singing and its benefits within our community, improve health, build connection and enhance wellbeing.
We offer one-to-one singing lessons both in person and online, group classes, choir and workshops. We cover all aspects of vocal training such as improving your breathing, vocal techniques, discovering your range and how to protect your voice. Most importantly, we focus on building your confidence, self esteem and enhancing your wellbeing in order to benefit you in every aspect of your life.

OUR TEAM
Meet Our Teacher
At Sing for Joy, we have a team of talented teachers who are passionate about music and singing. Our team is led by Tara Heffernan, an experienced singer, performer, vocal coach, secondary school music teacher and wellbeing advocate.
Tara's education includes a BA in Music majoring in Pop voice, a 1:1 Professional Masters in Music Education and currently, she is enrolled on an MSc in Psychology. Tara has six years of experience teaching Music and Wellbeing from 1st to 6th year, leading choirs and organising musical events at secondary schools in Ireland. Tara is teaching council registered and Garda vetted. She believes strongly in the power of singing and connection.

Group classes
We offer one to one lessons that are tailored to your needs from beginner all the way to advanced. Our lessons will cover a range of topics, including vocal technique, breathing, theory, improvisation, and performance skills. More over, we will make it a fun and uplifting experience for you to express yourself and connect mindfully to the music.
