Fees

• Once you have accepted a place in any of our groups, a deposit or the full fee is required to secure your place.

• If a deposit is paid to secure your space, it is non-refundable.

• Payment can be made through bank transfer, Revolut or the online payment link.

• All fees are payable before each term begins. Failure to comply with this will result in suspension of the classes.

• Regrettably, missed sessions by the student cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

• Tuition fees do not cover the cost of exam entry fees,

• A 10% discount can be applied to fees for additional lessons within the same immediate family.

• Payments must be made in advance whether all lessons have been attended or missed by the student.

Missed lessons

• Missed group lessons by individual students cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

• In the event of a teacher absence, a substitute will be arranged or the lesson will be made up at a later date within the same term.

• If a student is late for a lesson, the lesson can only proceed for the remainder of the time left due to the next scheduled student.

• In the event of closure under exceptional circumstances e.g. weather conditions/government mandate, Refunds cannot be offered and all classes will proceed online.

• Regrettably, there is no refund for early termination of lessons due to personal reasons on the students behalf.

Timing

• All students must arrive to their lesson promptly, regularly and on time. Lessons will last 30 minutes unless agreed for more.

• There is no provision for supervision outside of lessons times.

• If a student is late, we cannot make up missed time.

• To discuss student progression, parents are welcome to talk to the teacher at the start of their child's lesson but not afterwards due to scheduling of the next lesson.

Communications

• All communications will be made through text, whatsapp or email. Please make sure we have an up to date contact number and email to keep in touch.

• From time to time, photos or videos may be taken of lesson content or concert performances. You have the right to opt out of this.

• Students are expected to behave in a respectful manner whilst on the premises. Respect towards teachers, equipment and other students is paramount.

• Parental support and encouragement is imperative for student progression. Please ensure your child is encouraged to practise and has a space to do so.

• Sing for Joy reserves the right to dismiss a student due to disciplinary reasons, overdue tution payments and/or non compliance with our terms and conditions. In such case, tuition fees will not be refunded.
